Production of Unmeasured Emissions by Combustion in House Boilers
Chlubna, Martin ; Lisá, Hana (referee) ; Lisý, Martin (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the production of non-monitored pollutants during combustion in domestic boilers. The theoretical part is made up of a research study dealing with pollutants and their legislation. In the experimental part combustion tests for coal and wood of different moisture are made. In conclusion, the measurement results are evaluated on the basis of chemical analysis.
Agropellets for House Boilers
Čaňo, Lubomír ; Milčák, Pavel (referee) ; Lisý, Martin (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the characteristics of the agropellets and with their combustion in the house combustion units. In the introduction of the first part is described what the agropellets are and how they are produced. It is followed by a characteristics of the agropellets as a fuel and by their comparison to the other solid fuels. The end of the first part is dedicated to a combustion itself and the creation of emissions during it’s combustion. The second part of the bachelor thesis is focused on a practical verification of the characteristics of the selected agropellets as a fuel. It also includes the experimentally measured values of emissions during their combustion.
Automatic pellets boilers
Albrecht, Ladislav ; Lisý, Martin (referee) ; Baláš, Marek (advisor)
Bachelor thesis deals with biomass pellets and combustion of various types of these pellets in an automatic pellet boiler. The thesis is divided into the theoretical and practical part. The first part deals with the research on the properties of solid fuels, next with biomass and finally with wood and alternative pellets. It also describes the technology of automatic pellet boilers. The second part describes the fuel analysis, the indirect method of calculating the efficiency of the boiler, the combustion test and the evaluation.
Analysssis of Mixtured Pellets Combustion
Somora, Jakub ; Milčák, Pavel (referee) ; Lisý, Martin (advisor)
The bachelor thesis focuses on combustion of mixed pellets compared to combustion of mixtu-re of monomaterial pellets. The research part deals with fuel properties of pellets as well as problems arising from the combustion process. It describes the major impact of sintering at biomass energy use, which is also related with the composition of fly ash. It also contains a comparison of the basic parameters of wood and alternative pellets, as well as the emission which are created in process of biomass combustion. The experimental part deals with the ana-lysis and comparison of combustion of mixed pellets as compared to the mixture of monoma-terial pellets. It includes monitoring of emission and solid pollutants content. At the end, the measured data are evaluated and compared to the current standards.
Analysis of Enery Using of Coffee Pellets
Sedláček, Daniel ; Baláš, Marek (referee) ; Lisý, Martin (advisor)
The aim of my thesis was to develop a comprehensive study on the energy use of the coffee waste called spent coffee grounds. The study conducted a complete fuel analysis, TGA analysis, experimental drying and pelletization, combustion tests and basic economic evaluation.
Alternative Biomass Fuels Properties
Krejčiřík, Jiří ; Milčák, Pavel (referee) ; Lisý, Martin (advisor)
This bachelor thesis follows up attributes of alternative fuels made from biomass and burning them in home combustion equipment with taking into account the process of creating emissions of solid pollutants. There can be found definition of solid alternative fuels with descripition of how are they made and also their attributes as fuels in the first chapter of this thesis. In the second part can be found description of burning alternative fuels made from biomass with taking into account the process of creating emissions. The third chapter of this bachelor thesis is focused on experimental testing of fuel attributes of alternative fuels made from biomass. There is also practical test of creating emissions with focus on creating solid pollutants in this part.
Combustion of Coffee Pellets
Kurečková, Andrea ; Baláš, Marek (referee) ; Lisý, Martin (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with combustion of coffee pellets, which are made of spend coffee grounds. The work is divided into two main parts. The first part contains a research of combustion, solid fuels and energy use of spent coffee grounds. The second part is experimental and describes the combustion test. It describes the measurement procedure, the necessary calculations and evaluation.
Impact of Wood Moisture on Gas Emissions Production
Kantor, Tomáš ; Brázdil, Marian (referee) ; Lisý, Martin (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with effect of wood moisture on production of gaseous emissions. Theoretical part is composed by background research dealing with a concept of biomass as a solid fuel and biomass combustion. In practical part, the combustion tests in a fireplace inlay are performed for wood of different moisture content. In conclusion, results are compared with valid emission limits and legislation.
